Pretend I said New Years Eve, I guess that was one of those times when I said what I was thinking instead of what I wanted to say.  Too bad it is soooooo much work to delete that heading and change it to New Years Eve.  Anyway it does not matter because I am from a planet where dogs rule things and we are nude, Donald Duck style, meaning we sometimes wear shirts but almost never pants and usually nothing at all and queer means odd or the band the queers because we do not have a negative view of the gays like you grumpy biggoted earthlings.  

There, rationalized, I accept your apolology earthling.

i looked everytime i was supposed to and saw exactly zero astronomies.  this trend appears to be continuing into 2010.  someone told me on new years eve eve that on new years eve there would be some sort of blue moon.  i of course thought they were messing with me and decided to prove it.  i took photo a on new years eve eve seen above and waited patiently for new years eve to compare the photo i would take then to see if the moon was indeed bluer.  so new years ever rolls around aaaaannnnnnnnnddd clouds, see photo below.  i hate astronomy which is odd because i love pastrami and you would think one would have something to do with the other since they sound so similar.

but lets take the lampshade off our heads see if we can make this happen.  i have never in my 4 years known anything but the zeros being next to each other.  the zeros being apart is going to be hard to get used to.

another year down, i accomplished nothing on paper but that is pretty much par for the course for a dog.  in reality i made a few people smile and made a handful of posts here that were pure gold.  it is a shame that you would have to sort through the other couple hundred posts to find them and i would never expect you to do that so you can just trust me that they are in there.  in 2010 i resolve to continue posting and further my hobbies like chasing pelicans and hassling cats and eating fish tacos.  that reminds me, i am going to go eat a fish taco now.  then it is straight to the beach to growl the new year in.  God I love fish tacos.
